Meet Amy Jones-Yerdon! She is a Wilmington native, and proud of it. And...she's the newest member of the Coastal Select Properties team!
Growing up in Wilmington and attending public schools in New Hanover County. She says she has loved watching the home she adores grow into one of the most coveted places to live in the southeast. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington earning a bachelor’s degree in Communication and returning to graduate school earning a master’s degree in Elementary Education. There was no question when she graduated, she says, where she would end up. She was already home.
She began her real estate career in 2007. While keeping her license up to date she continued to stay closely tuned into the local market condition, trends and the needs of clients, family and friends that were actively pursuing property in the Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach areas.

Amy's husband, Derek, is a native New Yorker, and they stay busy raising four beautiful children. They all love spending time outdoors and traveling. The six of them can usually be found on the beach or on their boat. The family splits their time between their two homes near Wrightsville Beach and on Carolina Beach.

Amy: I love helping people and their families find home.
What's your favorite thing to do?
Amy: I enjoy spending time with my family and being outside enjoying nature, whether is being poolside, on our boat or sitting on the beach.
Why did you choose to stay in Wilmington?
Amy: I grew up in Wilmington and attended UNCW. I earned my undergraduate degree in Communications and my master’s degree in Elementary Education. And, when I graduated, I honestly just didn't want to be anywhere else. I feel so fortunate to be able to raise my kids in a coastal town.
Why did you choose Coastal Select Properties?
Amy: The uniqueness that Coastal Select offers its clients and the support of local charities in the community puts CSP in a league of its own. I'm super-proud to be part of this team.

Amy: Anything outdoors
What motivates you to do what you do every day?
Amy: My children. Being a good example for them and being supportive of their daily, changing needs.
What do you hope your work will accomplish?
Amy: I hope to establish a legacy for my children while showing them how investing in real estate and working in real estate is a rewarding career. Helping people find the perfect home for them is a quite a privilege.
