North Topsail Beach

North Topsail Beach Real Estate & Community Information

Of course the Town of North Topsail is just as lovely as its sister to the south, however, it could be said that North Topsail is the little sister! There are fewer permanent residents here, yet what it lacks in size it makes up for in sheer natural beauty. The actual town is in the Stump Sound Township in Onslow County. It is a popular tourist destination in the summer months and home to about 1000 permanent residents.

As with Topsail Beach, on North Topsail there's a nice blend of old and new. Villa Capriani is a standout as one of the town's newest condo communities. It is also the location of one of North Topsail's finest restaurants, Inlet 790. For the most part, there is very little commercial development along North Topsail. It is understood that folks are here for other pursuits such as world-class fishing, bountiful beachcombing, boating and the latest craze, standup paddle boarding.

History & Recreation

Perhaps North Topsail's most famous landmark is the Seaview Pier. It is one of the state's longest fishing piers, and well known for its well-stocked bait and tackle shop and restaurant. In fact, it's possible to have your fresh catch cooked right on site. Non-seafood fans will undoubtedly be thrilled with Seaview's celebrated hotdogs, hamburgers and chili made from a secret family recipe.

From the shores of North Topsail, it's a quick trip over to the Permuda Island Coastal Reserve. The island is about 1.5 miles long and accessible only by shallow draft boat such as a kayak or canoe.

Along with uncrowded beaches and affordable property, North Topsail is also synonymous with everyone's favorite bivalve mollusk, the Stump Sound oyster!
