Teresa Krebs
Teresa has spent more than 20 years in residential real estate, helping buyers and sellers navigate decisions that are often among the most significant and personal of their lives. She has built her business around relationships, thoughtful guidance, strong communication, and creating an experience that clients feel good about long after the transaction is complete.
She has called Wilmington home since 1993 and has developed a deep knowledge of the coastal North Carolina market and the communities that make this area special. Over the years, she has worked with clients through everything from first homes and relocations to new construction, investment properties, and major life transitions. She especially enjoys helping people see beyond the walls of a home to understand the lifestyle and sense of community that come with it.
Before transitioning to full-time real estate, her career took her well beyond North Carolina. As a Fulbright recipient, she spent time teaching English in South Korea before later serving as International Programs Manager for a nonprofit organization facilitating adoptions from Russia and Kazakhstan. Those experiences gave her an early appreciation for connecting with people from different backgrounds, navigating unfamiliar situations, and communicating through complex, highly personal decisions. These skills have stayed with her throughout her real estate career.
Life isn't all work, though. She believes in making time for fun, family, and friends. She loves taking trips to Disney World with her college-age daughters, cruising with Mickey, and planning adventures to new destinations. As she navigates the new “empty nest” chapter of her life, she continues to support the local Ultimate Frisbee community. Her involvement spans 30 years, and although she still plays in some organized rec leagues, her role has been gradually transitioning from active participant to enthusiastic supporter. She is also very proud of her women's pool volleyball league, which is a supportive space for women and an endless source of laughter. Outside of the pool and frisbee field, she enjoys taking classes through UNCW's lifelong learning institute, listening to live music (especially at Greenfield Lake), and relaxing with her dog and two cats.
