Tricia has lived in 9 different states but after doing extensive research, decided Wilmington was the perfect place to call home. She holds a Master's Degree and Doctorate in Physical Therapy but after successfully buying and selling some properties of her own she decided to turn her passion for real estate into a career. Tricia obtained her Realtor's license in New York in 1998 and in North Carolina in 2004. She has helped hundreds of clients with primary residence, second home and investment purchases as well as facilitating 1031 exchanges and 401K real estate acquisitions.

Tricia Started Coastal Select Properties in 2013 and is proud to be a full service boutique real estate agency with a mission of giving back. Her company supports many local and global charities including Make A Wish, Good Shepherd Shelter and The Haiti School Project.

Tricia is a marathon runner and also enjoys yoga, cooking, traveling and taking advantage of all the Historic District and local beaches have to offer. In her spare time she makes short films, her latest film premiered at the 2015 Cucalorus Film Festival. She believes in long term investing in real estate and owns several investment properties on both Carolina Beach and North Topsail Beach. She resides in the Historic District of Wilmington.

My wife and I have bought and sold ten homes in six different states over the past 25 years. We've worked with every stereotypical agent you can image. Tricia, however, is different. She is someone who is so easy to work with, you can easily forget you are in the process of one of life's more stressful events: a real estate transaction. When the work comes down to the final negotiations is when you are most thankful Tricia is on your time; she is a shrewd negotiator who is also fair and honest, a combination not readily found. You will complete the transaction knowing you settled at a fair price with fair conditions, and you won't feel like you need to take a shower afterwards. Probably why we have used Tricia for all three of our purchases and sales in the Wilmington area.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Tricia Ireland and her agents (Andrea, Dave) at Coastal Select Properties are quite possibly the hardest working real estate agents I have ever worked with. We just sold a property that had 2 contracts fall through. The third 
Contract was the charm. CSP and Tricia had the 3rd contract within 2 hours of the 2nd broken contract. We are so grateful, especially during these uncertain times to have sold this investment property. Thank you CSP, Tricia, Andrea & Dave for being so diligent. You guys are the absolute best and we love all that you do to give back to our community❤️

Tricia walked us through every step of the selling process. After 40 + years in the same house we had lots of questions and she was there to answer every one quickly and thoroughly. We could not have asked for a better experience or a finer professional to be our agent. Incredible Service, Proactive, Experience Real Estate Agent 

I do not usually write reviews, but I am because of the excellent service that Tricia was able to provide while I was looking for a house. She is very engaged and has an excellent team of quality people who have extensive knowledge of the local Wilmington market. I was not physically able to be present for most of the home buying process, and she was able to accomplish all required tasks seamlessly. Tricia and Jordyn were amazing realtors who guided and supported us during our journey to becoming first time homebuyers! It’s easy to find an agent that will help you buy or sell a home, but you will rarely find an agent who you can trust to really be there for you when you need to rely on experience and expertise for tough decisions.

Simply put, Tricia is the best. I looked at properties exclusively on Coastal Select’s website for years and Tricia was always gracious and patient throughout my journey. Tricia & Andrea were absolutely fantastic in what turned out to be a 7 month building/buying process. Tricia at Coastal Select Properties helped me with the purchase of my first home. She was incredibly patient and helpful, as I had a list of things that were important to me. I swear we looked at 50 homes before finding the home that was right for me! What I loved about Tricia is that every house we went in she gave me feedback as if it was her that was going to be purchasing the house. Not once did she ever pressure me or push me in a direction for a sale. She supplied me with so much knowledge that I was 100% comfortable when I decided to make my offer. The closing was also seamless, I had heard nightmares about closings from friends and she remained calm through the entire process and kept telling me "Jennifer, you need to pack". She has done an unbelievable job in educating herself beyond what I believe most agents do. I am now using her to look at investment properties and her experience again is providing to be so helpful in helping me with my decisions. I not only highly recommend her but I will only use her as an agent even though I have a ton of close friends that are also agents.The security of a trustworthy and principled professional is priceless in my opinion and Tricia is exactly that! Bought a Single Family home in 2017 in Leland, NC.

Tricia and her assistant, Candi, helped me buy my first home this past spring. She was wonderful to work with, and very patient as it took a while to find the right home on a somewhat limited budget. I never felt pressured to buy or look in neighborhoods I wasn't interested in to speed things up.  Very friendly and professional. She and Candi helped me get in quickly to see homes in a fast-moving market until I found the right one. I would recommend her!
